Learning through International Volunteering Experience. Sara has met Claudia, a young Austrian girl that spent 11 months in Matera in Italy working with social vulnerabile groups and providing them help.
Every second Friday in a month we are going to talk with a new guest who volunteered outside of the country as a part of the European Solidarity Corps project. Our goal is to answer the most common questions – what are the biggest challenges and what are the best moments of living abroad, what to do when you don’t know the language of the country, what kind of support you should have of the organization, how to choose the right project for you, etc..? So, if you want to know more about the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering opportunities and to prepare yourself for everything that awaits you in a new country, this is the right channel for you.

The European Solidarity Corps is a program with the general objective to engages more youngsters in solidarity activities, primarily volunteering. One of the program’s actions is individual volunteering outside of the country, which means that Youth 18-30 years old can apply to volunteer in one of the projects if they are from EU or programs countries. All costs of traveling and living are paid and monthly pocket money for every participant is included. More about conditions ESC project and activity fields can be found here.
